GET YOUR SH*T TOGETHER
How to Organize Your Act Information for Press, Producers, and Festivals
Once you decide you want to keep performing, you’ll soon realize you will desperately need a way to keep all your act info organized! Just like an overstuffed closet full of sequins & trim, your computer can easily become a jumbled mess!
Over the years, Indigo Blue has developed a simple and organized way to file, store and send just the right info. Her system is an invaluable resource for budding performers who wish to submit to festivals, respond to tech requests, and build press kits and websites.
This is an ONLINE course. It is held virtually, using Zoom and Teachable. This course includes:
- Live group video-class with Indigo Blue via Zoom, Sun Nov 18, 11am PST/2pm EST
- 3 self-paced online video modules, released starting Sun Nov 18.
- Worksheets and Templates
- Shared directory structure for you to copy and use
- 3 Bonus Appendices
- Detailed full-color workbook
For those who want more support and guidance check out the group workshop below, “Git It Done”.
GIT IT DONE
Weekend Workshop with Miss Indigo Blue
Want some support to actually get it done?
it’s all fine & good to have a set of instructions, but sometimes you need a PUSH to get sh*T done!
In this live video conference workshop, Indigo will spend the afternoon helping students Compile, Create, and Organize their own act information for submission to festivals, producers, and show submissions. She will give specific assignments to students, who will then work independently for a short while. Then, all will reconvene hourly back in the video conference room to check on progress and break through roadblocks to success.
The entire workshop (aka “Productivity Party”, thanks Verity Germaine!) is about 5 hours, and students will be empowered and organized at the conclusion. The baseline for this workshop is the Get Your Sh*T Together Instructions, so students are encouraged to complete that course first.
Even though the price is for ONE live supported Workshop session, you can attend BOTH! (or Either.) They will be repeats.
The workshops meet at show-pony hours using ZOOM’s online video conference room at Sunday December 9, and Sunday December 16, at 2pm EST/11am PST.
